Answer me when I pray, O God, my defender! When I was in trouble, you helped me. Be kind to me now and hear my prayer.

The Lord is righteous and loves good deeds; those who do them will live in his presence.

Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful, because I come to you for safety. In the shadow of your wings I find protection until the raging storms are over.

Lord, don't be angry and rebuke me! Don't punish me in your anger!

God, be merciful to us and bless us; look on us with kindness,

God is known in Judah; his name is honored in Israel.
