You will rise and take pity on Zion; the time has come to have mercy on her; this is the right time.

Lord, you will always be proclaimed as God; all generations will remember you.

Come to our aid! Because of your constant love save us!

O God, be kind to Zion and help her; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

Rise in your anger, O Lord! Stand up against the fury of my enemies; rouse yourself and help me! Justice is what you demand,

“I have set a time for judgment,” says God, “and I will judge with fairness.

Before you created the hills or brought the world into being, you were eternally God, and will be God forever.

We know that your enemies will die, and all the wicked will be defeated.

Tell the Israelites that I, the Lord, the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, have sent you to them. This is my name forever; this is what all future generations are to call me.

How shall we answer the messengers that come to us from Philistia? We will tell them that the Lord has established Zion and that his suffering people will find safety there.

Encourage the people of Jerusalem. Tell them they have suffered long enough and their sins are now forgiven. I have punished them in full for all their sins.”

Arise, Jerusalem, and shine like the sun; The glory of the Lord is shining on you!

The Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says, “When I restore the people to their land, they will once again say in the land of Judah and in its towns, ‘May the Lord bless the sacred hill of Jerusalem, the holy place where he lives.’

He answered, “You must go now, Daniel, because these words are to be kept secret and hidden until the end comes.

Jesus said to them, “The times and occasions are set by my Father's own authority, and it is not for you to know when they will be.

But when the right time finally came, God sent his own Son. He came as the son of a human mother and lived under the Jewish Law,

as you wait for the Day of God and do your best to make it come soon—the Day when the heavens will burn up and be destroyed, and the heavenly bodies will be melted by the heat.

But do not forget one thing, my dear friends! There is no difference in the Lord's sight between one day and a thousand years; to him the two are the same.
