Sensible people always think before they act, but stupid people advertise their ignorance.

What a joy it is to find just the right word for the right occasion!

Good people think before they answer. Evil people have a quick reply, but it causes trouble.

Knowledge is spread by people who are wise, not by fools.

Intelligent people think before they speak; what they say is then more persuasive.

Then you will know how to behave properly, and your words will show that you have knowledge.

A fool talks on and on. No one knows what is going to happen next, and no one can tell us what will happen after we die.

The more you worry, the more likely you are to have bad dreams, and the more you talk, the more likely you are to say something foolish.

The Sovereign Lord has taught me what to say, so that I can strengthen the weary. Every morning he makes me eager to hear what he is going to teach me.
