Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart.

as you help us by means of your prayers for us. So it will be that the many prayers for us will be answered, and God will bless us; and many will raise their voices to him in thanksgiving for us.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, always give thanks for everything to God the Father.

Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God's people.

The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful.

Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father.

Be persistent in prayer, and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God.

First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, requests, and thanksgivings be offered to God for all people;

A widow who is all alone, with no one to take care of her, has placed her hope in God and continues to pray and ask him for his help night and day.

The end of all things is near. You must be self-controlled and alert, to be able to pray.

Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.
