even if you gave me all the silver and gold in your palace, I could not disobey the command of the Lord by doing anything of myself. I will say only what the Lord tells me to say.”

But Peter answered him, “May you and your money go to hell, for thinking that you can buy God's gift with money!

They claim that they know God, but their actions deny it. They are hateful and disobedient, not fit to do anything good.

But I would not listen to Balaam, so he blessed you, and in this way I rescued you from Balak.
