Is anything too hard for the Lord? As I said, nine months from now I will return, and Sarah will have a son.”

but he answered, “Do you think this is enough for a hundred men?” Elisha replied, “Give it to them to eat, because the Lord says that they will eat and still have some left over.”

The personal attendant of the king said to Elisha, “That can't happen—not even if the Lord himself were to send grain at once!” “You will see it happen, but you won't get to eat any of the food,” Elisha replied.

Again and again they put God to the test and brought pain to the Holy God of Israel.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now you are going to see what I will do to the king. I will force him to let my people go. In fact, I will force him to drive them out of his land.”

“Why did my people fail to respond when I went to them to save them? Why did they not answer when I called? Am I too weak to save them? I can dry up the sea with a command and turn rivers into a desert, so that the fish in them die for lack of water.

Don't think that the Lord is too weak to save you or too deaf to hear your call for help!

Why are you like someone taken by surprise, like a soldier powerless to help? Surely, Lord, you are with us! We are your people; do not abandon us.’”

“Sovereign Lord, you made the earth and the sky by your great power and might; nothing is too difficult for you.

“I am the Lord, the God of all people. Nothing is too difficult for me.

I, the Lord, will speak to them, and what I say will be done. There will be no more delay. In your own lifetime, you rebels, I will do what I have warned you I would do. I have spoken,” says the Sovereign Lord.

I, the Lord, have spoken. The time has come for me to act. I will not ignore your sins or show pity or be merciful. You will be punished for what you have done.” The Sovereign Lord has spoken.

When he got there, he called out anxiously, “Daniel, servant of the living God! Was the God you serve so loyally able to save you from the lions?”

Do you think the people of Israel are under a curse? Has the Lord lost his patience? Would he really do such things? Doesn't he speak kindly to those who do right?”

Could enough cattle and sheep be killed to satisfy them? Are all the fish in the sea enough for them?”

God is not like people, who lie; He is not a human who changes his mind. Whatever he promises, he does; He speaks, and it is done.

Jesus looked straight at them and answered, “This is impossible for human beings, but for God everything is possible.”

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

For there is nothing that God cannot do.”
