Then Jesus said to him, “Listen! Don't tell anyone, but go straight to the priest and let him examine you; then in order to prove to everyone that you are cured, offer the sacrifice that Moses ordered.”

The Lord is a God who is eager to save, so he exalted his laws and teachings, and he wanted his people to honor them.

If you come to a town where people do not welcome you or will not listen to you, leave it and shake the dust off your feet. That will be a warning to them!”

Then Jesus ordered the people not to speak of it to anyone; but the more he ordered them not to, the more they told it.

As they came down the mountain, Jesus ordered them, “Don't tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has risen from death.”

Jesus saw them and said to them, “Go and let the priests examine you.” On the way they were made clean.

This will be your chance to tell the Good News.

Demons also went out from many people, screaming, “You are the Son of God!” Jesus gave the demons an order and would not let them speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.

Her parents were astounded, but Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone what had happened.

Then Jesus gave them strict orders not to tell this to anyone.

“I am not looking for human praise.

Those who speak on their own authority are trying to gain glory for themselves. But he who wants glory for the one who sent him is honest, and there is nothing false in him.

I am not seeking honor for myself. But there is one who is seeking it and who judges in my favor.
