Matthew 4:23

Good News Translation

Jesus went all over Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the Good News about the Kingdom, and healing people who had all kinds of disease and sickness.

He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.

They wanted to crush us completely; they burned down every holy place in the land.

the blind can see, the lame can walk, those who suffer from dreaded skin diseases are made clean, the deaf hear, the dead are brought back to life, and the Good News is preached to the poor.

Jesus left that place and went to a synagogue,

Those who hear the message about the Kingdom but do not understand it are like the seeds that fell along the path. The Evil One comes and snatches away what was sown in them.

and went back to his hometown. He taught in the synagogue, and those who heard him were amazed. “Where did he get such wisdom?” they asked. “And what about his miracles?

Jesus got out of the boat, and when he saw the large crowd, his heart was filled with pity for them, and he healed their sick.

And this Good News about the Kingdom will be preached through all the world for a witness to all people; and then the end will come.

“Turn away from your sins,” he said, “because the Kingdom of heaven is near!”

Jesus went around visiting all the towns and villages. He taught in the synagogues, preached the Good News about the Kingdom, and healed people with every kind of disease and sickness.

After John had been put in prison, Jesus went to Galilee and preached the Good News from God.

Jesus and his disciples came to the town of Capernaum, and on the next Sabbath Jesus went to the synagogue and began to teach.

So he traveled all over Galilee, preaching in the synagogues and driving out demons.

He had healed many people, and all the sick kept pushing their way to him in order to touch him.

On the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue. Many people were there; and when they heard him, they were all amazed. “Where did he get all this?” they asked. “What wisdom is this that has been given him? How does he perform miracles?

He was greatly surprised, because the people did not have faith. Then Jesus went to the villages around there, teaching the people.

heal the sick in that town, and say to the people there, ‘The Kingdom of God has come near you.’

One Sabbath Jesus was teaching in a synagogue.

“The Law of Moses and the writings of the prophets were in effect up to the time of John the Baptist; since then the Good News about the Kingdom of God is being told, and everyone forces their way in.

One day when Jesus was in the Temple teaching the people and preaching the Good News, the chief priests and the teachers of the Law, together with the elders, came

Then Jesus returned to Galilee, and the power of the Holy Spirit was with him. The news about him spread throughout all that territory.

One day when Jesus was teaching, some Pharisees and teachers of the Law were sitting there who had come from every town in Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was present for Jesus to heal the sick.

When Jesus had come down from the hill with the apostles, he stood on a level place with a large number of his disciples. A large crowd of people was there from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and from the coast cities of Tyre and Sidon;

On another Sabbath Jesus went into a synagogue and taught. A man was there whose right hand was paralyzed.

At that very time Jesus healed many people from their sicknesses, diseases, and evil spirits, and gave sight to many blind people.

He answered John's messengers, “Go back and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind can see, the lame can walk, those who suffer from dreaded skin diseases are made clean, the deaf can hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is preached to the poor.

Some time later Jesus traveled through towns and villages, preaching the Good News about the Kingdom of God. The twelve disciples went with him,

When the crowds heard about it, they followed him. He welcomed them, spoke to them about the Kingdom of God, and healed those who needed it.

Jesus answered, “Let the dead bury their own dead. You go and proclaim the Kingdom of God.”

Jesus answered, “I have always spoken publicly to everyone; all my teaching was done in the synagogues and in the Temple, where all the people come together. I have never said anything in secret.

Jesus said this as he taught in the synagogue in Capernaum.

After this, Jesus traveled in Galilee; he did not want to travel in Judea, because the Jewish authorities there were wanting to kill him.

You know about Jesus of Nazareth and how God poured out on him the Holy Spirit and power. He went everywhere, doing good and healing all who were under the power of the Devil, for God was with him.

He held discussions in the synagogue every Sabbath, trying to convince both Jews and Greeks.

“I have gone about among all of you, preaching the Kingdom of God. And now I know that none of you will ever see me again.

He preached about the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ, speaking with all boldness and freedom.

And how can the message be proclaimed if the messengers are not sent out? As the scripture says, “How wonderful is the coming of messengers who bring good news!”
