and when he swears by the Temple, he is swearing by it and by God, who lives there;
Now I have built a majestic temple for you, a place for you to live in forever.”
“But can you, O God, really live on earth? Not even all of heaven is large enough to hold you, so how can this Temple that I have built be large enough?
Because the Temple was full of the dazzling light, the priests could not enter it.
I love the house where you live, O Lord, the place where your glory dwells.
So then, when a person swears by the altar, he is swearing by it and by all the gifts on it;
In union with him you too are being built together with all the others into a place where God lives through his Spirit.
