Matthew 21:23

Good News Translation

Jesus came back to the Temple; and as he taught, the chief priests and the elders came to him and asked, “What right do you have to do these things? Who gave you such right?”

They made the apostles stand before them and asked them, “How did you do this? What power do you have or whose name did you use?”

But the one who was mistreating the other pushed Moses aside. ‘Who made you ruler and judge over us?’ he asked.
