He had healed many people, and all the sick kept pushing their way to him in order to touch him.

But because the king had taken Sarai, the Lord sent terrible diseases on him and on the people of his palace.

While there was still plenty of meat for them to eat, the Lord became angry with the people and caused an epidemic to break out among them.

When Jesus heard about the plot against him, he went away from that place; and large crowds followed him. He healed all the sick

Jesus got out of the boat, and when he saw the large crowd, his heart was filled with pity for them, and he healed their sick.

They begged him to let the sick at least touch the edge of his cloak; and all who touched it were made well.

Jesus went all over Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the Good News about the Kingdom, and healing people who had all kinds of disease and sickness.

Jesus said to her, “My daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your trouble.”

And everywhere Jesus went, to villages, towns, or farms, people would take their sick to the marketplaces and beg him to let the sick at least touch the edge of his cloak. And all who touched it were made well.

They came to Bethsaida, where some people brought a blind man to Jesus and begged him to touch him.

Jesus got into one of the boats—it belonged to Simon—and asked him to push off a little from the shore. Jesus sat in the boat and taught the crowd.

All the people tried to touch him, for power was going out from him and healing them all.

A Roman officer there had a servant who was very dear to him; the man was sick and about to die.

At that very time Jesus healed many people from their sicknesses, diseases, and evil spirits, and gave sight to many blind people.

As a result of what the apostles were doing, sick people were carried out into the streets and placed on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.

Because the Lord corrects everyone he loves, and punishes everyone he accepts as a child.”
