“We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink the cup I must drink and be baptized in the way I must be baptized.

Jesus said to Peter, “I tell you that before the rooster crows two times tonight, you will say three times that you do not know me.”

They came to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”

But they kept on shouting at the top of their voices that Jesus should be crucified, and finally their shouting succeeded.

“Lord, why can't I follow you now?” asked Peter. “I am ready to die for you!”
