Good News Translation

Her life returned, and she got up at once, and Jesus ordered them to give her something to eat.

But Jesus gave them strict orders not to tell anyone, and he said, “Give her something to eat.”

But Jesus took her by the hand and called out, “Get up, child!”

Her parents were astounded, but Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone what had happened.

He came out, his hands and feet wrapped in grave cloths, and with a cloth around his face. “Untie him,” Jesus told them, “and let him go.”
