We know that God does not listen to sinners; he does listen to people who respect him and do what he wants them to do.

But God has shown us how much he loves us—it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us!

This is a true saying, to be completely accepted and believed: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. I am the worst of them,

It must be remembered, of course, that laws are made, not for good people, but for lawbreakers and criminals, for the godless and sinful, for those who are not religious or spiritual, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,

As the scripture says, “It is difficult for good people to be saved; what, then, will become of godless sinners?”
