“You have stayed with me all through my trials;
But whoever holds out to the end will be saved.
So Jesus said to those who believed in him, “If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples;
to serve as an apostle in the place of Judas, who left to go to the place where he belongs.”
And now he can help those who are tempted, because he himself was tempted and suffered.
Our High Priest is not one who cannot feel sympathy for our weaknesses. On the contrary, we have a High Priest who was tempted in every way that we are, but did not sin.
