Whenever you go into a town and are made welcome, eat what is set before you,
“Whoever welcomes you welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.
But whenever you go into a town and are not welcomed, go out in the streets and say,
and said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name, welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me, also welcomes the one who sent me. For the one who is least among you all is the greatest.”
I am telling you the truth: whoever receives anyone I send receives me also; and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.”
If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you decide to go, eat what is set before you, without asking any questions because of your conscience.
In the same way, the Lord has ordered that those who preach the gospel should get their living from it.
