Whenever you go into a house, first say, ‘Peace be with this house.’

I offer peace to all, both near and far! I will heal my people.

Don't take a purse or a beggar's bag or shoes; don't stop to greet anyone on the road.

If someone who is peace-loving lives there, let your greeting of peace remain on that person; if not, take back your greeting of peace.

Jesus said to him, “Salvation has come to this house today, for this man, also, is a descendant of Abraham.

You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, proclaiming the Good News of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

So Christ came and preached the Good News of peace to all—to you Gentiles, who were far away from God, and to the Jews, who were near to him.

He instructed them to say to Nabal: “David sends you greetings, my friend, with his best wishes for you, your family, and all that is yours.
