This is what the Sovereign Lord is saying: “The city of murderers is doomed! It is like a corroded pot that is never cleaned. Piece after piece of meat is taken out, and not one is left.

“Israel's sin and guilt are on record, and the records are safely stored away.

The Lord, the God of Israel, has sworn, “I will never forget their evil deeds.

“The Lord remembers what their enemies have done; he waits for the right time to punish them.
