Genesis 26:18

Good News Translation

He dug once again the wells which had been dug during the time of Abraham and which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham's death. Isaac gave the wells the same names that his father had given them.

Abraham complained to Abimelech about a well which the servants of Abimelech had seized.

Abraham answered, “Accept these seven lambs. By doing this, you admit that I am the one who dug this well.”

And so the place was called Beersheba, because it was there that the two of them made a vow.

So Isaac left and set up his camp in Gerar Valley, where he stayed for some time.

Isaac's servants dug a well in the valley and found water.

He also built fortified towers in the open country and dug many cisterns, because he had large herds of livestock in the western foothills and plains. Because he loved farming, he encouraged the people to plant vineyards in the hill country and to farm the fertile land.

I will never let her speak the name of Baal again.
