I will gather the rest of my people from the countries where I have scattered them, and I will bring them back to their homeland. They will have many children and increase in number.

Yes, I say, you will find me, and I will restore you to your land. I will gather you from every country and from every place to which I have scattered you, and I will bring you back to the land from which I had sent you away into exile. I, the Lord, have spoken.’

The Lord says, “Nations, listen to me and proclaim my words on the far-off shores. I scattered my people, but I will gather them and guard them as a shepherd guards his flock.

The Lord's unfailing love and mercy still continue,

He may bring us sorrow, but his love for us is sure and strong.

“So tell them what I, the Sovereign Lord, am saying. I will gather them out of the countries where I scattered them, and will give the land of Israel back to them.

I will take you from every nation and country and bring you back to your own land.

Then my people will know that I am the Lord their God. They will know this, because I sent them into captivity and now gather them and bring them back into their own land, not leaving even one of them behind.

You will be merciful to us once again. You will trample our sins underfoot and send them to the bottom of the sea!

Though I have scattered them among the nations, yet in far-off places they will remember me. They and their children will survive and return home together.

And if the Jews abandon their unbelief, they will be put back in the place where they were; for God is able to do that.

And this is how all Israel will be saved. As the scripture says, “The Savior will come from Zion and remove all wickedness from the descendants of Jacob.

In the same way, because of the mercy that you have received, the Jews now disobey God, in order that they also may now receive God's mercy.

Do not keep for yourselves anything that was condemned to destruction, and then the Lord will turn from his fierce anger and show you mercy. He will be merciful to you and make you a numerous people, as he promised your ancestors,

The Lord will scatter you among other nations, where only a few of you will survive.
