Work on the Temple had been stopped and had remained at a standstill until the second year of the reign of Emperor Darius of Persia.

The second beast looked like a bear standing on its hind legs. It was holding three ribs between its teeth, and a voice said to it, “Go on, eat as much meat as you can!”

The goat represents the kingdom of Greece, and the prominent horn between his eyes is the first king.

This vision about the evening and morning sacrifices which has been explained to you will come true. But keep it secret now, because it will be a long time before it does come true.”

I watched the ram butting with his horns to the west, the north, and the south. No animal could stop him or escape his power. He did as he pleased and grew arrogant.

The Sovereign Lord never does anything without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets.

We know that what the scripture says is true forever; and God called those people gods, the people to whom his message was given.

Then the one who sits on the throne said, “And now I make all things new!” He also said to me, “Write this, because these words are true and can be trusted.”
