Acts 9:10

Good News Translation

There was a believer in Damascus named Ananias. He had a vision, in which the Lord said to him, “Ananias!” “Here I am, Lord,” he answered.

It was about three o'clock one afternoon when he had a vision, in which he clearly saw an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius!”

“While I was praying in the city of Joppa, I had a vision. I saw something coming down that looked like a large sheet being lowered by its four corners from heaven, and it stopped next to me.

For three days he was not able to see, and during that time he did not eat or drink anything.

When I was in Damascus, the governor under King Aretas placed guards at the city gates to arrest me.

nor did I go to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before me. Instead, I went at once to Arabia, and then I returned to Damascus.

the Lord called Samuel. He answered, “Yes, sir!”
