Good News Translation

We went aboard a ship from Adramyttium, which was ready to leave for the seaports of the province of Asia, and we sailed away. Aristarchus, a Macedonian from Thessalonica, was with us.

One day Jesus got into a boat with his disciples and said to them, “Let us go across to the other side of the lake.” So they started out.

She followed Paul and us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God! They announce to you how you can be saved!”

But when our time with them was over, we left and went on our way. All of them, together with their wives and children, went with us out of the city to the beach, where we all knelt and prayed.

They gave us many gifts, and when we sailed, they put on board what we needed for the voyage.

We arrived in the city of Syracuse and stayed there for three days.

When we arrived in Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself with a soldier guarding him.

The natives there were very friendly to us. It had started to rain and was cold, so they built a fire and made us all welcome.

Aristarchus, who is in prison with me, sends you greetings, and so does Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. (You have already received instructions to welcome Mark if he comes your way.)
