So the jailer told Paul, “The officials have sent an order for you and Silas to be released. You may leave, then, and go in peace.”

Then Moses went back to Jethro, his father-in-law, and said to him, “Please let me go back to my relatives in Egypt to see if they are still alive.” Jethro agreed and told him good-bye.

Jesus said to her, “My daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your trouble.”

“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.

After spending some time there, they were sent off in peace by the believers and went back to those who had sent them.

After a severe beating, they were thrown into jail, and the jailer was ordered to lock them up tight.

The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he thought that the prisoners had escaped; so he pulled out his sword and was about to kill himself.

The next morning the Roman authorities sent police officers with the order, “Let those men go.”

The priest answered, “You have nothing to worry about. The Lord is taking care of you on this trip.”

“Go in peace,” Eli said, “and may the God of Israel give you what you have asked him for.”

Then Jonathan said to David, “God be with you. The Lord will make sure that you and I, and your descendants and mine, will forever keep the sacred promise we have made to each other.” Then David left, and Jonathan went back to the town.

Then David accepted what she had brought him and said to her, “Go back home and don't worry. I will do what you want.”

So go back home in peace, and don't do anything that would displease them.”
