to preach the message, to insist upon proclaiming it (whether the time is right or not), to convince, reproach, and encourage, as you teach with all patience.

In the assembly of all your people, Lord, I told the good news that you save us. You know that I will never stop telling it.

He said, “Go to Nineveh, that great city, and proclaim to the people the message I have given you.”

How happy are those who have no doubts about me!”

They came to Jesus and begged him earnestly, “This man really deserves your help.

Jesus answered, “Let the dead bury their own dead. You go and proclaim the Kingdom of God.”

When they arrived at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues. They had John Mark with them to help in the work.

On the Sabbath we went out of the city to the riverside, where we thought there would be a place where Jews gathered for prayer. We sat down and talked to the women who gathered there.

On Saturday evening we gathered together for the fellowship meal. Paul spoke to the people and kept on speaking until midnight, since he was going to leave the next day.

When we arrived in Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself with a soldier guarding him.

And how can the message be proclaimed if the messengers are not sent out? As the scripture says, “How wonderful is the coming of messengers who bring good news!”

Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times.

If you are being taught the Christian message, you should share all the good things you have with your teacher.

And I have been made a servant of the church by God, who gave me this task to perform for your good. It is the task of fully proclaiming his message,

At the same time pray also for us, so that God will give us a good opportunity to preach his message about the secret of Christ. For that is why I am now in prison.

You imitated us and the Lord; and even though you suffered much, you received the message with the joy that comes from the Holy Spirit.

We urge you, our friends, to warn the idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

Until I come, give your time and effort to the public reading of the Scriptures and to preaching and teaching.

Rebuke publicly all those who commit sins, so that the rest may be afraid.

Those who make themselves clean from all those evil things, will be used for special purposes, because they are dedicated and useful to their Master, ready to be used for every good deed.

who is gentle as you correct your opponents, for it may be that God will give them the opportunity to repent and come to know the truth.

But you have followed my teaching, my conduct, and my purpose in life; you have observed my faith, my patience, my love, my endurance,

Teach these things and use your full authority as you encourage and rebuke your hearers. Let none of them look down on you.

I beg you, my friends, to listen patiently to this message of encouragement; for this letter I have written you is not very long.

I rebuke and punish all whom I love. Be in earnest, then, and turn from your sins.
