So Joab went to the king and said to him, “What have you done? Abner came to you—why did you let him go like that?

Then the king sent for Abram and asked him, “What have you done to me? Why didn't you tell me that she was your wife?

When Joab and his men arrived, he was told that Abner had come to King David and had been sent away with a guarantee of safety.

Pilate replied, “Do you think I am a Jew? It was your own people and the chief priests who handed you over to me. What have you done?”
