“Go to your neighbors and borrow as many empty jars as you can,” Elisha told her.

and he said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Dig ditches all over this dry stream bed.

“What shall I do for you?” he asked. “Tell me, what do you have at home?” “Nothing at all, except a small jar of olive oil,” she answered.

“Then you and your sons go into the house, close the door, and start pouring oil into the jars. Set each one aside as soon as it is full.”

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt. Open your mouth, and I will feed you.

“But my people would not listen to me; Israel would not obey me.

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your happiness may be complete.
