Good News Translation

Josiah did what was pleasing to the Lord; he followed the example of his ancestor King David, strictly obeying all the laws of God.

“People of Israel, be sure that you do everything that the Lord your God has commanded you. Do not disobey any of his laws.

Just be determined, be confident; and make sure that you obey the whole Law that my servant Moses gave you. Do not neglect any part of it and you will succeed wherever you go.
