“I am telling you the truth: those who hear my words and believe in him who sent me have eternal life. They will not be judged, but have already passed from death to life.

Everyone whom my Father gives me will come to me. I will never turn away anyone who comes to me,

For what my Father wants is that all who see the Son and believe in him should have eternal life. And I will raise them to life on the last day.”

Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them to life on the last day.

Everything written in the Scriptures was written to teach us, in order that we might have hope through the patience and encouragement which the Scriptures give us.

For sin pays its wage—death; but God's free gift is eternal life in union with Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now, concerning what you wrote about unmarried people: I do not have a command from the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord's mercy is worthy of trust.

God in his mercy has given us this work to do, and so we do not become discouraged.

Let us, then, who were the first to hope in Christ, praise God's glory!

Let us praise God for his glorious grace, for the free gift he gave us in his dear Son!

The Lord is not slow to do what he has promised, as some think. Instead, he is patient with you, because he does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins.
