As Samuel grew up, the Lord was with him and made come true everything that Samuel said.

At that time Abimelech went with Phicol, the commander of his army, and said to Abraham, “God is with you in everything you do.

Remember, I will be with you and protect you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done all that I have promised you.”

The Lord was with Joseph and made him successful. He lived in the house of his Egyptian master,

who saw that the Lord was with Joseph and had made him successful in everything he did.

“Praise the Lord who has given his people peace, as he promised he would. He has kept all the generous promises he made through his servant Moses.

When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you; your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burned; the hard trials that come will not hurt you.

But when my servant makes a prediction, when I send a messenger to reveal my plans, I make those plans and predictions come true. I tell Jerusalem that people will live there again, and the cities of Judah that they will be rebuilt. Those cities will rise from the ruins.

So also will be the word that I speak— it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do.

“A virgin will become pregnant and have a son, and he will be called Immanuel” (which means, “God is with us”).

The angel came to her and said, “Peace be with you! The Lord is with you and has greatly blessed you!”

The child grew and developed in body and spirit. He lived in the desert until the day when he appeared publicly to the people of Israel.

The child grew and became strong; he was full of wisdom, and God's blessings were upon him.

Jesus grew both in body and in wisdom, gaining favor with God and people.

And now, my friends, good-bye! Strive for perfection; listen to my appeals; agree with one another; live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord and what he says does not come true, then it is not the Lord's message. That prophet has spoken on his own authority, and you are not to fear him.

The Lord be with your spirit. God's grace be with you all.

The Lord kept every one of the promises that he had made to the people of Israel.

The woman gave birth to a son and named him Samson. The child grew and the Lord blessed him.

When these things happen, do whatever God leads you to do.

and now you have him to lead you. As for me, I am old and gray, and my sons are with you. I have been your leader from my youth until now.

One of his attendants said, “Jesse of the town of Bethlehem has a son who is a good musician. He is also a brave and handsome man, a good soldier, and an able speaker. The Lord is with him.”

Saul was afraid of David because the Lord was with David but had abandoned him.

and was successful in all he did, because the Lord was with him.

David was successful in all the missions on which Saul sent him, and so Saul made him an officer in his army. This pleased all of Saul's officers and men.

The Lord did bless Hannah, and she had three more sons and two daughters. The boy Samuel grew up in the service of the Lord.

The boy Samuel continued to grow and to gain favor both with the Lord and with people.

The servant answered, “Wait! In this town there is a holy man who is highly respected because everything he says comes true. Let's go to him, and maybe he can tell us where we can find the donkeys.”
