saying to him, “Don't be afraid. My father Saul won't be able to harm you. He knows very well that you are the one who will be the king of Israel and that I will be next in rank to you.”

The Lord is with me, I will not be afraid; what can anyone do to me?

Reverence for the Lord gives confidence and security to a man and his family.

People may plan all kinds of things, but the Lord's will is going to be done.
