Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.

“So don't be all upset, always concerned about what you will eat and drink.

But Jesus answered, “The scripture says, ‘Human beings cannot live on bread alone, but need every word that God speaks.’”

Leave your troubles with the Lord, and he will defend you; he never lets honest people be defeated.

The disciples asked him, “Where will we find enough food in this desert to feed this crowd?”

Trust in the Lord and do good; live in the land and be safe.

Amaziah asked the prophet, “But what about all that silver I have already paid for them?” The prophet replied, “The Lord can give you back more than that!”

He provides food for those who honor him; he never forgets his covenant.

“This is why I tell you: do not be worried about the food and drink you need in order to stay alive, or about clothes for your body. After all, isn't life worth more than food? And isn't the body worth more than clothes?

Can any of you live a bit longer by worrying about it?

The Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha! You are worried and troubled over so many things,

“When they bring you to be tried in the synagogues or before governors or rulers, do not be worried about how you will defend yourself or what you will say.

Then Jesus said to the disciples, “And so I tell you not to worry about the food you need to stay alive or about the clothes you need for your body.

Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart.
