Jesus turned, saw them following him, and asked, “What are you looking for?” They answered, “Where do you live, Rabbi?” (This word means “Teacher.”)

“Teacher,” answered Nathanael, “you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned toward him and said in Hebrew, “Rabboni!” (This means “Teacher.”)

When the people found Jesus on the other side of the lake, they said to him, “Teacher, when did you get here?”

You must not be called ‘Teacher,’ because you are all equal and have only one Teacher.

“Now, to what can I compare the people of this day? They are like children sitting in the marketplace. One group shouts to the other,

Judas, the traitor, spoke up. “Surely, Teacher, you don't mean me?” he asked. Jesus answered, “So you say.”

Judas went straight to Jesus and said, “Peace be with you, Teacher,” and kissed him.

Peter remembered what had happened and said to Jesus, “Look, Teacher, the fig tree you cursed has died!”

As he taught them, he said, “Watch out for the teachers of the Law, who like to walk around in their long robes and be greeted with respect in the marketplace,

As soon as Judas arrived, he went up to Jesus and said, “Teacher!” and kissed him.

“How terrible for you Pharisees! You love the reserved seats in the synagogues and to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces.

In the meantime the disciples were begging Jesus, “Teacher, have something to eat!”

His disciples asked him, “Teacher, whose sin caused him to be born blind? Was it his own or his parents' sin?”

“Teacher,” the disciples answered, “just a short time ago the people there wanted to stone you; and are you planning to go back?”
