Jesus spent those days teaching in the Temple, and when evening came, he would go out and spend the night on the Mount of Olives.

Jesus left the city and went, as he usually did, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples went with him.

When evening came, Jesus and his disciples left the city.

Then Jesus spoke to the crowd, “Did you have to come with swords and clubs to capture me, as though I were an outlaw? Every day I sat down and taught in the Temple, and you did not arrest me.

Jesus left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.

As Jesus and his disciples approached Jerusalem, they came to Bethphage at the Mount of Olives. There Jesus sent two of the disciples on ahead

Then the apostles went back to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, which is about half a mile away from the city.

Six days before the Passover, Jesus went to Bethany, the home of Lazarus, the man he had raised from death.

When he came near Jerusalem, at the place where the road went down the Mount of Olives, the large crowd of his disciples began to thank God and praise him in loud voices for all the great things that they had seen:

The next day, as they were coming back from Bethany, Jesus was hungry.

Then they sang a hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives.

At that time he will stand on the Mount of Olives, to the east of Jerusalem. Then the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west by a large valley. Half of the mountain will move northward, and half of it southward.

Day after day I was with you teaching in the Temple, and you did not arrest me. But the Scriptures must come true.”

As he came near Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples ahead

Every day Jesus taught in the Temple. The chief priests, the teachers of the Law, and the leaders of the people wanted to kill him,

Judas, the traitor, knew where it was, because many times Jesus had met there with his disciples.
