Then go and get the prize calf and kill it, and let us celebrate with a feast!

Here on Mount Zion the Lord Almighty will prepare a banquet for all the nations of the world—a banquet of the richest food and the finest wine.

My soul will feast and be satisfied, and I will sing glad songs of praise to you.

She has had an animal killed for a feast, mixed spices in the wine, and set the table.

Then he ran to the herd and picked out a calf that was tender and fat, and gave it to a servant, who hurried to get it ready.

The woman quickly killed a calf which she had been fattening. Then she took some flour, prepared it, and baked some bread without yeast.

Better to eat vegetables with people you love than to eat the finest meat where there is hate.

But the father called to his servants. ‘Hurry!’ he said. ‘Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and shoes on his feet.

For this son of mine was dead, but now he is alive; he was lost, but now he has been found.’ And so the feasting began.
