Someone asked him, “Sir, will just a few people be saved?” Jesus answered them,

But the gate to life is narrow and the way that leads to it is hard, and there are few people who find it.

And Jesus concluded, “Many are invited, but few are chosen.”

And Jesus concluded, “So those who are last will be first, and those who are first will be last.”

When the disciples heard this, they were completely amazed. “Who, then, can be saved?” they asked.

Jesus went through towns and villages, teaching the people and making his way toward Jerusalem.

“Do your best to go in through the narrow door; because many people will surely try to go in but will not be able.
