Some of John's disciples began arguing with a Jew about the matter of ritual washing.

When Jesus heard this, he was surprised and said to the people following him, “I tell you, I have never found anyone in Israel with faith like this.

When Jesus finished speaking, a Pharisee invited him to eat with him; so he went in and sat down to eat.
