They went to Philip (he was from Bethsaida in Galilee) and said, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.”

“How terrible it will be for you, Chorazin! How terrible for you too, Bethsaida! If the miracles which were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, the people there would have long ago put on sackcloth and sprinkled ashes on themselves, to show that they had turned from their sins!

The apostles came back and told Jesus everything they had done. He took them with him, and they went off by themselves to a town named Bethsaida.

They came to Bethsaida, where some people brought a blind man to Jesus and begged him to touch him.

At once Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to Bethsaida, on the other side of the lake, while he sent the crowd away.

Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Patriot,

They entered the city and went up to the room where they were staying: Peter, John, James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Patriot, and Judas son of James.

The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Come with me!” (

Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one whom Moses wrote about in the book of the Law and whom the prophets also wrote about. He is Jesus son of Joseph, from Nazareth.”

“Can anything good come from Nazareth?” Nathanael asked. “Come and see,” answered Philip.

Nathanael asked him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered, “I saw you when you were under the fig tree before Philip called you.”

Jesus looked around and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, so he asked Philip, “Where can we buy enough food to feed all these people?” (

Philip answered, “For everyone to have even a little, it would take more than two hundred silver coins to buy enough bread.”

Philip went and told Andrew, and the two of them went and told Jesus.
