You created the day and the night; you set the sun and the moon in their places;

I create both light and darkness; I bring both blessing and disaster. I, the Lord, do all these things.

All of you are people who belong to the light, who belong to the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.

You made the night, and in the darkness all the wild animals come out.

As long as the world exists, there will be a time for planting and a time for harvest. There will always be cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.”
