You love him, although you have not seen him, and you believe in him, although you do not now see him. So you rejoice with a great and glorious joy which words cannot express,

Jesus said to him, “Do you believe because you see me? How happy are those who believe without seeing me!”

For our life is a matter of faith, not of sight.

May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit.

To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.

That is how it is with you: now you are sad, but I will see you again, and your hearts will be filled with gladness, the kind of gladness that no one can take away from you.

For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever.

It was faith that made Moses leave Egypt without being afraid of the king's anger. As though he saw the invisible God, he refused to turn back.

This stone is of great value for you that believe; but for those who do not believe: “The stone which the builders rejected as worthless turned out to be the most important of all.”

May you always be joyful in your union with the Lord. I say it again: rejoice!

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the glorious crown which will never lose its brightness.

May God's grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with undying love.

I am sure of this, and so I know that I will stay. I will stay on with you all, to add to your progress and joy in the faith,

For God's Kingdom is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of the righteousness, peace, and joy which the Holy Spirit gives.
