Always set an example by doing good things. When you teach, be an example of moral purity and dignity.

We are proud that our conscience is clear. We are proud of the way that we have lived in this world. We have lived with a God-given holiness  and sincerity, especially toward you. It was not by human wisdom that we have lived but by God’s kindness.

At least we don’t go around selling an impure word of God like many others. The opposite is true. As Christ’s spokesmen and in God’s presence, we speak the pure message that comes from God.

Instead, we have refused to use secret and shameful ways. We don’t use tricks, and we don’t distort God’s word. As God watches, we clearly reveal the truth to everyone. This is our ⌞letter of⌟ recommendation.

I’m not commanding you, but I’m testing how genuine your love is by pointing out the dedication of others.

His favor  is with everyone who has an undying love for our Lord Jesus Christ.

That way you will be able to determine what is best and be pure and blameless until the day of Christ.

It’s not as though we didn’t have a right to receive support. Rather, we wanted to set an example for you to follow.

Don’t let anyone look down on you for being young. Instead, make your speech, behavior, love, faith, and purity an example for other believers.

People should tell about the good things she has done: raising children, being hospitable, taking care of believers’ needs, helping the suffering, or always doing good things.

This is a statement that can be trusted. I want you to insist on these things so that those who believe in God can concentrate on setting an example by doing good things. This is good and helps other people.

Don’t be rulers over the people entrusted to you, but be examples for the flock to follow.
