From Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus. To God’s people in the city of Philippi and their bishops and deacons—to everyone who is united with Christ Jesus.

This is the revelation of Jesus Christ. God gave it to him to show his servants the things that must happen soon. He sent this revelation through his angel to his servant John.

From Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James. To those who have been called, who are loved by God the Father, and who are kept safe for Jesus Christ.

From Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ. To those who have obtained a faith that is as valuable as ours, a faith based on the approval that comes from our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

No one takes this honor for himself. Instead, God calls him as he called Aaron.

and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

He also gave apostles, prophets, missionaries, as well as pastors and teachers as gifts ⌞to his church⌟.

You heard and believed the message of truth, the Good News that he has saved you. In him you were sealed with the Holy Spirit whom he promised.

I have become a fool. You forced me to be one. You should have recommended me to others. Even if I’m nothing, I wasn’t inferior in any way to your super-apostles.

I don’t think I’m inferior in any way to your super-apostles.

Our message is not about ourselves. It is about Jesus Christ as the Lord. We are your servants for his sake.

I’m not ashamed of the Good News. It is God’s power to save everyone who believes, Jews first and Greeks as well.

“But the Lord told me, ‘Go! I’ll send you on a mission. You’ll go far away to people who aren’t Jewish.’ ”

I fell to the ground and heard a voice asking me, ‘Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?’

But I don’t place any value on my own life. I want to finish the race I’m running. I want to carry out the mission I received from the Lord Jesus—the mission of testifying to the Good News of God’s kindness.

He told me, “Don’t do that! I am your coworker. I work with other Christians, the prophets, and those who follow the words in this book. Worship God!”

I became a servant of the church when God gave me the work of telling you his entire message.

God can strengthen you by the Good News and the message I tell about Jesus Christ. He can strengthen you by revealing the mystery that was kept in silence for a very long time

People like these are not serving Christ our Lord. They are serving their own desires. By their smooth talk and flattering words they deceive unsuspecting people.

I know that when I come to you I will bring the full blessing of Christ.

Now, I speak to you who are not Jewish. As long as I am an apostle sent to people who are not Jewish, I bring honor to my ministry.

I know this because an angel from the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood by me last night.

Agrippa said to Paul, “You’re free to speak for yourself.” Paul acknowledged King Agrippa and then began his defense.

All of us fell to the ground, and I heard a voice asking me in Hebrew, ‘Saul, Saul! Why are you persecuting me? It’s hard for ⌞a mortal like⌟ you to resist God.’

The officer gave Paul permission to speak. So Paul stood on the stairs of the barracks and motioned with his hand for the people to be quiet. When the mob was silent, Paul spoke to them in the Hebrew language.

Remember what I told you: ‘A servant isn’t greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they did what I said, they will also do what you say.

After John had been put in prison, Jesus went to Galilee and told people the Good News of God.

When I went to the city of Troas, the Lord gave me an opportunity to spread the Good News about Christ.

Did I commit a sin when I humbled myself by telling you the Good News of God free of charge so that you could become important?

We felt so strongly about you that we were determined to share with you not only the Good News of God but also our lives. That’s how dear you were to us!

You remember, brothers and sisters, our work and what we did to earn a living. We worked night and day so that we could bring you the Good News of God without being a burden to any of you.

The time has come for the judgment to begin, and it will begin with God’s family. If it starts with us, what will be the end for those who refuse to obey the Good News of God?
