From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by God’s will. To God’s holy and faithful people who are united with Christ in the city of Ephesus.

Now, write this on a tablet for them, and inscribe it in a book so that it will be there in the future as a permanent witness.

The one sitting on the throne said, “I am making everything new.” He said, “Write this: ‘These words are faithful and true.’ ”

Then the angel said to me, “Write this: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the lamb’s wedding banquet.’ ” He also told me, “These are God’s true words.”

But you have a few people in Sardis who have kept their clothes clean. They will walk with me in white clothes because they deserve it.

“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give this testimony to you for the churches. I am the root and descendant of David. I am the bright morning star.”
