Will anyone tell about your mercy in Sheol or about your faithfulness in Abaddon?

On the day of disaster the wicked person is spared. On the day of ⌞God’s⌟ anger he is rescued.

Sheol is naked in God’s presence, and Abaddon has no clothing.

But you, O God, will throw ⌞wicked people⌟ into the deepest pit. Bloodthirsty and deceitful people will not live out half their days. But I will trust you.

I am worn out from my groaning. My eyes flood my bed every night. I soak my couch with tears.

You put them in slippery places and make them fall into ruin.

If Sheol and Abaddon lie open in front of the Lord how much more the human heart!

Your dead will live. Their corpses will rise. Those who lie dead in the dust will wake up and shout for joy, because your dew is a refreshing dew, and the earth will revive the spirits of the dead.

Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I answered, “Only you know, Almighty Lord.”

“Enter through the narrow gate because the gate and road that lead to destruction are wide. Many enter through the wide gate.

If God wants to demonstrate his anger and reveal his power, he can do it. But can’t he be extremely patient with people who are objects of his anger because they are headed for destruction?

False prophets were among God’s people ⌞in the past⌟, as false teachers will be among you. They will secretly bring in their own destructive teachings. They will deny the Lord, who has bought them, and they will bring themselves swift destruction.
