He has made his miracles unforgettable. The Lord is merciful and compassionate.

I remember the days long ago. I reflect on all that you have done. I carefully consider what your hands have made.

The Lord will tear them down and never build them up again, because they never consider what he has done or what his hands have made.

Then I said, “It makes me feel sick that the power of the Most High is no longer the same.”

They forgot what he had done— the miracles that he had shown them.

“Who is like you among the gods, O Lord? Who is like you? You are glorious because of your holiness and awe-inspiring because of your splendor. You perform miracles.

At their feasts there are lyres and harps, tambourines and flutes, and wine. Yet, they don’t pay attention to what the Lord is doing or see what his hands have done.
