But I will always have hope. I will praise you more and more.
O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, because with the Lord there is mercy and with him there is unlimited forgiveness.
So all people who have this confidence in Christ keep themselves pure, as Christ is pure.
“It is good to continue to hope and wait silently for the Lord to save us.
I depended on you before I was born. You took me from my mother’s womb. My songs of praise constantly speak about you.
Why are you discouraged, my soul? Why are you so restless? Put your hope in God, because I will still praise him. He is my savior and my God.
Therefore, your minds must be clear and ready for action. Place your confidence completely in what God’s kindness will bring you when Jesus Christ appears again.
So don’t lose your confidence. It will bring you a great reward.
“The reason I can ⌞still⌟ find hope is that I keep this one thing in mind:
I pray that your love will keep on growing because of your knowledge and insight.
In fact, you are showing love to all the Christians throughout the province of Macedonia. We encourage you as believers to excel in love even more.
If God would kill me, I would have no hope ⌞left⌟. Nevertheless, I will defend my behavior to his face.
But grow in the good will and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Glory belongs to him now and for that eternal day! Amen.
My soul can say, ‘The Lord is my lot ⌞in life⌟. That is why I find hope in him.’
The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to anyone who seeks help from him.
