O Lord God of Armies, God of Israel, arise to punish all the nations. Have no pity on any traitors. Selah

As ⌞someone⌟ gets rid of a dream when he wakes up, so you, O Lord, get rid of the thought of them when you wake up.

Turn your steps toward these pathetic ruins. The enemy has destroyed everything in the holy temple.

Then the Lord woke up like one who had been sleeping, like a warrior sobering up from ⌞too much⌟ wine.

The Lord takes his place in the courtroom. He stands to judge his people.

The Lord says, “Now I will arise. Now I will get up. Now I will be lifted up.”

Now, Lord our God, rescue us from Assyria’s control so that all the kingdoms on earth will know that you alone are the Lord.”

Wake up! Wake up! Clothe yourself with strength, O Lord! Wake up as you did in days long past, as in generations long ago. Didn’t you cut Rahab  into pieces and stab the serpent?
