You will pray to him, and he will listen to you, and you will keep your vow to him.

Enter his gates with a song of thanksgiving. Come into his courtyards with a song of praise. Give thanks to him; praise his name.

I will keep my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.

There on the mountains are the feet of a messenger who announces the good news: “All is well!” Celebrate your festivals, Judah! Keep your vows! This wickedness will never pass your way again. It will be completely removed.

If you didn’t make a vow, you would not be guilty.

Make sure you do what you said you would do ⌞in your vow⌟. You freely chose to make your vow to the Lord your God.

If you go into your neighbor’s vineyard, you may eat as many grapes as you like until you’re full. But never put any in your basket.

Through Jesus we should always bring God a sacrifice of praise, that is, words that acknowledge him.

When he saw her, he tore his clothes in grief and said, “Oh no, Daughter! You’ve brought me to my knees! What disaster you’ve brought me! I made a foolish promise to the Lord. Now I can’t break it.”
