Get away from me, all you troublemakers, because the Lord has heard the sound of my crying.

Now my eyes are blurred from grief. Now all my limbs are like a shadow.

You saved me from death. You saved my eyes from tears ⌞and⌟ my feet from stumbling.

Get away from me, you evildoers, so that I can obey the commandments of my God.

I wish that you would kill wicked people, O God, and that bloodthirsty people would leave me alone.

The Lord is near to everyone who prays to him, to every faithful person who prays to him.

I call aloud to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. Selah

My life is exhausted from sorrow, my years from groaning. My strength staggers under ⌞the weight of⌟ my guilt, and my bones waste away.

You will live in Zion, in Jerusalem. You won’t cry anymore. The Lord will certainly have pity on you when you cry for help. As soon as he hears you, he will answer you.

“Please, Lord, remember how I’ve lived faithfully and sincerely in your presence. I’ve done what you consider right.” And he cried bitterly.

“Go and say to Hezekiah, ‘This is what the Lord God of your ancestor David says: I’ve heard your prayer. I’ve seen your tears. I’m going to give you 15 more years to live.

Listen to my cry ⌞for help⌟. Don’t close your ears when I cry out for relief.

“Then the king will say to those on his left, ‘Get away from me! God has cursed you! Go into everlasting fire that was prepared for the devil and his angels!

Then I will tell them publicly, ‘I’ve never known you. Get away from me, you evil people.’

But he will tell you, ‘I don’t know who you are. Get away from me, all you evil people.’

During his life on earth, Jesus prayed to God, who could save him from death. He prayed and pleaded with loud crying and tears, and he was heard because of his devotion to God.
