Indeed, I cry, ‘Help! I’m being attacked!’ but I get no response. I call for help, but there is no justice.

At midnight I wake up to give thanks to you for the regulations, which are based on your righteousness.

When Daniel learned that the document had been signed, he went to his house. An upper room in his house had windows that opened in the direction of Jerusalem. Three times each day he got down on his knees and prayed to his God. He had always praised God this way.

They replied, “Your Majesty, Daniel, one of the captives from Judah, refuses to obey your order or the decree that you signed. He prays three times each day.”

In the morning, long before sunrise, Jesus went to a place where he could be alone to pray.

After saying goodbye to them, he went up a mountain to pray.

Jesus saw that they were in a lot of trouble as they rowed, because they were going against the wind. Between three and six o’clock in the morning, he came to them. He was walking on the sea. He wanted to pass by them.

One day, about three in the afternoon, he had a vision. He clearly saw an angel from God come to him and say, “Cornelius!”

Cornelius answered, “Four days ago I was praying at home. It was at this same time, three o’clock in the afternoon. Suddenly, a man dressed in radiant clothes stood in front of me.

Around noon the next day, while Cornelius’ men were on their way and coming close to Joppa, Peter went on the roof to pray.

Peter and John were going to the temple courtyard for the three o’clock prayer.

Pray in the Spirit  in every situation. Use every kind of prayer and request there is. For the same reason be alert. Use every kind of effort and make every kind of request for all of God’s people.

During his life on earth, Jesus prayed to God, who could save him from death. He prayed and pleaded with loud crying and tears, and he was heard because of his devotion to God.
